"Pilots and crew from Chi Lang 1967-68 got together for a "reunion" in San Antonio on 25-27 February 05. Attached are two photos of before and after.
Both photos are left to right Dan Cerone, Jim Duffell, Keith Chapman, and Frank Waldo."

All the wives were there and a good time was had by all renewing old memories after 37 years.
We spent some time on the San Antonio Riverwalk, good food and drinks, and Jim and Carol Duffell, who live just our of San Antonio, graciously shared there home and food for a wonderful evening looking at old photos and telling war stories. It is amazing how some things are a clear as yesterday for some, and can't be remembered by others and vice versa.

ME IN 2007

I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary to my current wife in July; (I’m still trying to figure out the glazed look in her eyes it the photos that day. It was a mill…milestone for us to reach. None of my other wives could put up with me anywhere near so long).

We have a son attending Texas A&M. He is a senior in the Corps and marches in the Fighting Texas Aggie Band. Also, he is enrolled in an Army program to become an officer.

One daughter is married with my newest grandson born last Dec.

The other daughter is still in high school on the drill team (dance). She hopes for A&M also.

From a pervious marriage, I have an adopted son and a paternal son. They live in Arkansas.

Between them is my other daughter. She lives near me so I get to see her and those two grandkids regularly.

These days, I am disabled and quite round but still awful good looking (I think). I still enjoy fishing. I even fished in those water holes alongside the runway in Vinh Long. There were lots of turtles and snakes in them.

Right now, I am trying to convince my wife to let me convert one bedroom into a model train layout. Like spittin’ in the wind, that is.
