There are recent 2006-Dec 2007 fairly good definition photos of Long Xuyen ,Chau Doc and Chi Lang.It is interesting to note that it appears that that there are no operating airfields in the Delta except for a 6800' paved runway on Phu Quoc Island.It has become a tourist destination,I guess. It appears trhat neither old Can Tho AAF and Binh Thuy are usable for aircraft. When I was in Can Tho in 2000, there were lots of industrial sites being developed in that area. Also it is interesting that it appears that there is now a divided road between  the LX AF site and town. In 2000, it was about the same as in 69.
 I did not spend any time on ground at Chi Lang ,but it appears that there is a major VN Military Compound on or near the old SF Site .The old Strip looks like a street now.
 Maybe I can talk Herb into going with me for a ground recon,before we get into a wheelchair.
