How do you get drafted for three years? You re-inlist during Basic training. U.S.(drafted) to R.A. (Regular Army). I didn't want to go to no damn Fort Polk to be in the infantry.

* also was NCOIC POL and FIRE CHIEF ( I ran the Bird doggies gas station and got to wash the fire truck!) E-6 Sargent's slot was a good job for a spec 5. I realy injoyed the free all expense paid vacation to southeast Asia to help celebrate Tet 68 too.
